IPPNW Privacy Statement

IPPNW maintains this website for the benefit of our members, supporters and the general public. We respect the fundamental privacy of our online visitors. It is designed as an informational resource pertaining to the mission of IPPNW. To that end, we seek to protect the privacy of our visitors on all pages hosted at www.ippnw.org.
- It is our goal to provide a website that informs concerned visitors about our pursuit of nuclear disarmament, global health, and peace. We provide web pages that encourage visitors to support IPPNW programmatically and financially, but we do not collect personally identifiable information without your consent.
- IPPNW will never compromise the privacy of our donors. The only personal information IPPNW will collect from visitors will be voluntarily submitted by visitors for the purposes of a contribution or information request. Anyone making an online donation may be asked by IPPNW to renew their support in the future, but IPPNW does not sell, rent, or otherwise exchange donor lists.
- If you choose to donate to IPPNW by supplying credit card information online, security is provided through the encryption technology, SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). Additionally, all credit card information transferred online is stored in an encrypted, offline database. These measures provide the highest level of Internet security.
- Any technical information collected from our website will be impersonal in nature and will be used solely for the purposes of tracking website usage and efficacy. Data collection will never compromise your privacy and will be used to provide better web service to you and to our supporters.
- IPPNW does not use "cookies," or other data elements that can be sent to a visitor's browser for tracking purposes.
- If, at any time, you would like to request your donation history, make changes to your contact information, or request information about the different ways to contribute to the work of IPPNW, please address e-mail inquiries to Garrett FitzGerald, or phone 617. 440.1733 ext 204.
