IPPNW's 16th World Congress took place at the Peking University Health Science Center from September 16-19, 2004. "Peace Through Health" was organized by the Chinese Society of Radiological Medicine and Protection and the Chinese Medical Association.

Washington, DC 2002

IPPNW'S 15th World Congress, the "Summit for Survival," was held from May 3-5, 2002 in Washington, DC, and was attended by more than 400 physicians, medical students, and supporters of IPPNW and its US affiliate, Physicians for Social Responsibility.

Physicians, health workers, medical students, scientists, political leaders, and IPPNW supporters from nearly 50 countries met in Paris for IPPNW's 14th World Congress from June 28-July 2, 2000, to chart IPPNW’s course for the 21st century and celebrate 20 years of activism to prevent nuclear war and promote peace.
